ENTRY DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO DECEMBER 1, 2009!
To meet the demand for entries we have extended the deadline for submissions to December 1, 2009. This will give all of our DI teams more time to select their Challenges and create a great video entry. Don’t forget to register for the contest to receive official rules and instructions for uploading your video and submitting your essay.
Attention Destination ImagiNation teams, become stars of the Start a Team Reality Show Contest by documenting your journey all the way to a Tournament!
Destination ImagiNation (DI) wants the world to Start a Team, and who better to tell everyone what makes DI special than our teams! Beginning October 5, 2009, DI Teams will be able to submit a 100-word essay along with a 30-second video telling us why they should be selected. Six winning teams will be given video cameras and a production schedule to document the journey from forming a team all the way to participating in a Tournament.
Winning teams will be required to post either video or blog updates based on a production schedule and must include key messages related to DI and Start a Team. Final judging will be scored on the cumulative number of unique visitors to each team’s blog and video updates. The grand prize team will receive a $1,000 scholarship for each team member and have its video be included in the 2009-10 marketing campaign.
