The procedure for A.6.c is as follows: After the container has been checked in the Prep Area, the team will move it, unopened, to the Launch Area. After the eight-minute Presentation time begins, the team may open and unpack the container.

As stated in the Rules of the Road, page 29, MSDS Sheet, 8.b, the use of any potentially harmful or destructive material is not allowed at any Tournament. Spraying a commercial spray paint or any aerosol-propelled paint is not allowed in any Tournament building or Challenge Site because of harmful fumes and the potential 'drifting' of the paint in the air. As stated in the Rules of the Road, page 27, Safety #5, teams must be sure to check with their Regional and/or Affiliate Director to see whether there are Site-Specific Restrictions for any materials they plan to use at the Tournament venue.

A.3.a.ii should read: Your team may not apply anything other than commercially available Glue to the newsprint. For the purposes of this Challenge, Glue is any commercially available adhesive material applied in a non-solid form capable of creating a permanent bond. The Glue may be used to join pieces of paper or as a coating. Glues that require mixing with water are permitted, but teams may not produce their own "homemade" Glues. The addition of water to a commercially available Glue will not be considered a "homemade" Glue. However, the addition of any substance other than water to a commercially available Glue will be considered the production of "homemade" Glue. Teams should be prepared to supply the container for the Glue they used to build the Structure.

A.6.c.iii should read: Any props and scenery that do not fit into the fully enclosed container may not be used in the Presentation and are not eligible for score. Note: The Structure and its container and the team Identification Sign are exempt from this requirement. Additionally, commercially made musical instruments and instrument stands (used ONLY for the purpose of holding the music or the instrument) do not need to fit in the container. Team member costumes need not be enclosed in the container. Team members may remove parts of their costumes as long as they are not reused as props or scenery.
