December 7, 2009, Cherry Hill, N.J.—Destination ImagiNation, Inc. will be moving to a new headquarters to meet the demands of an expanding staff and growing programs. Beginning Janurary 4, 2010, Destination ImagiNation will call Cherry Hill, N.J home.
For more than 26 years, Destination ImagiNation, Inc. has implimented its core after-school program from Glassboro, N.J. With the addition of new staff, expanded and custom programming, and growing international presence, DI management knew the time had come to find a new home.
“This move represents the incredible growth we have experienced, particularly over the past five years. I have been with Destination ImagiNation, Inc. for more than 10 years, and I am incredibly proud of our staff and hope our new office will provide the space they need to continue to create extraordinary programs for our DI teams.” said Rusty McCarty, Chief Operating Officer and Creative Director for Destination Imagination, Inc.
The new building is significant not only in symbolizing the growth of Destination ImagiNation, Inc., but also in giving back to community development. The building is partially funded by the New Jersey Economical Development Authority (NJEDA) which provides non-profit organizations affordable loans to establish business in the state. The new 10,000 square-foot office building will be located at 1111 South Union Street, Cherry Hill, N.J.
“The purchase of this new facility could not have come at a better time. As we continue to grow both in staff and in programing , we need the ability to have a creative work space to continue to provide our extraordinary programs,” said Chuck Cadle, CEO of Destination ImagiNation. Inc.
